A stunning and most important 19th century Baroque st. Italian Pietre Dura marble top. The top has a central oval medallion within a foliate scrolled and arabesque borders. The whole is surrounded by reserves of various Italian marbles. The top is raised by a pair of stone carved bases with dolphin heads below an 'S' scrolled design. In the center of the bases is a fluted design above a richly carved moulded border.
