A high quality pair of 19th century patinated bronze and ormolu two arm candelabras, after a model by CLAUDION. Each candelabrum is raised on a concave side beaded ormolu base. Each two arm ormolu candelabra is held by a unique patinated bronze putti. The richly chased candlecup and saucer is at the top of branch like ormolu supports. A remarkable aspect that makes this pair of bronze putti of this style, unique is that unlike other pairs, that both have fully formed feet.

An exquisite pair of 19th century Louis XVI st. ormolu and marble candelabras. Each candelabra is raised on a square Rouge Griotte marble base on ormolu feet with acanthus leaf ormolu mounts. Above, each superbly chased ormolu urn portrays a different scene of cherubs at play, these in the manner of Clodion. The handles on each side depict lion like creatures joined by a swaging garland. The twisted top lid is below six ‘S’ scrolled arms ending in candlecups and saucers. Above is a central candlecup with flame designed finial that can be removed to place a seventh candle. All original gilt.

A Pair Of 19th Century French Louis XVI St. Five Arm Candelabras

A most impressive pair of 19th century French Louis XVI st. patinated bronze and ormolu five arm candelabras. The “Rouge Saint- Berthevin” marble cylinder base sits on an ormolu square base. Resting on each marble base is a charming bronze cherub with the hunt, one with a bronze deer head and the other with a boars head. The cherubs are leaning against the central stem of the ormolu horn shaped candelabra. Two of the five arms are ‘S’ scrolled with a highly chased oak leaf and acorn design.

A sensational pair of 19th century French Louis XV st ormolu four arm candelabras. The base is a richly chased acanthus leaf design scrolling up and into the central stem with three ‘S’ scrolled acanthus leaf design arms. The candlecups are acanthus leaf design as well as the candle nozzle. The central stem has a foliage design finial that sits in the candle nozzle and can be removed for a candle. All original gilt.

The reeded fut supports the six ‘S’ scrolled electrified arms decorated with acanthus leaves and floral blossoms. All original gilt.

An elegant pair of mid 19th century French Louis XVI st. ormolu mounted on white Carrara marble three arm electrified candelabras. Raised by topie feet with acanthus leave capitals. The marble base is trimmed in beaded ormolu with an ormolu foliage mount on the front. The base supports a marble urn with elaborate ormolu mounts. The three arms that emerge from the urn are scrolled ormolu branches with leaves. All original gilt.

A very fine pair of 19th century French Louis XIV st. ormolu five arm candelabras. Each on a square base with canted corners flanked by scrolling acanthus leaves. The fut baluster stem has richly chased figures amidst scrolling with an urn on top. Emerging from the urn are the ‘S’ scrolled arms with etchings of foliage ending with urn shaped candlecups. All original gilt.
