An attractive and high quality pair of French turn of the century faux marble painted wood pedestals. The square base has thick mouldings while the central paneled support has a very detailed diamond shaped design all sides, with a door in the back. Above is the moulded top with a stunning painted reserve. The painted faux marquetry represents some of the rarest and famous marbles such as Rouge Royal, green Campan, white Carrara and yellow Sienna.

A high quality late 19th century “Belle Époque”, French Louis XVI st. pedestal stand with one mechanical drawer. The stand has tapered square legs decorated by twisted spiral ormolu chutes and joined by an ‘X’ scrolled stretcher. The stretcher is decorated with foliate ormolu mounts and a central urn. At the apron is a drawer and leather fitted pull-out, and is decorated by impressive and highly chased ormolu mounts of cherubs playing with grape vines. The original marble top is fitted within a pierced ormolu gallery.

A stunning and unusual French 19th century hammered ormolu ‘Obelisque’ , with all original gilt. Raised by a fancy green Antico marble base. On each side of the square base is a central reserve of a Fleur de Lys amidst a laurel wreath on a scrolling platform. Above is a lovebird below an exquisite gadroon frieze. The tapering stem has an elegant Doric capital with a most impressive reeded acorn shaped top finial.

A very attractive pair of French mid 19th century Louis XVI st. gilt and grey patinated cast iron columns. Four different types of designs are depicted from The capital to the rectangular base. At The capital is a rounded column which includes an acanthus leaf design and beneath that a tapered shape surrounded by rose garlands. The lower section includes a hexagonal shape intertwined with foliage. Raised on a rectangular base with ribbons amongst fruit shaped reserves.
