An exquisite and unusual French 19th century Louis XVI st. buffet and hutch with a fine marquetry of Tulipwood & Charmwood with four doors. Two of the doors have a sunburst marquetry inlay & four drawers. The hutch has two doors with original beveled glass and mirror. The whole is ornamented with fine ormolu mounts and a 'Breche d'Alep' marble top.

A fine three door French mid 19th Century Louis XV st. buffet. The whole raised on cabriole legs and has three doors on both sides. With a quarter veneer of Tulipwood framed within a curved Tulipwood border. The buffet has all of its original ormolu mounts, hardware and marble top. The interior adjustable shelves are below a drawer inside the two outer doors. Wonderful proportions.

An elegant and attractive French 19th century Louis XVI st. crouch mahogany buffet. The buffet is raised by eight tapered supports with ormolu sabots and ormolu caps at the top. The four paneled doors have interior shelves and are surrounded by molded ormolu borders. Above the four drawers are finished the same and have richly detailed ormolu keyhole escutcheons. At the top lays a ‘Gris st. Anne’, molded edge marble top. All original ormolu and hardware.

A most impressive late 19th century French Louis XVI st. mahogany and ormolu decorated buffet. The buffet is raised by tapered fluted legs with ormolu sabots. The center has two wonderful grained doors with interior panels with ormolu keyhole escutcheons. The central drawer with ormolu pulls & keyhole is flanked with floral ormolu mounts. The curved sides have two open tiers below a top drawer, with ormolu pull, that swings out. At the top is a thick white Carrara marble top with a moulded edge.

Above are the two paneled doors decorated by chased ormolu bands all below the two drawers which are decorated the same and including their handles. Above is the original Gris St. Anne marble top.

An elegant late 19th century French Louis XV st. tulipwood and kingwood buffet. The buffet is raised by cabriole legs and has an arbalest shaped front and bombee shaped sides. The scalloped shaped apron is below a central drawer with a quarter veneered tulipwood inlay bordered by kingwood. Each open side has a bottom and top tier decorated by an ormolu pierced gallery. Above are three drawers with all original ormolu keyhole escutcheons. Above is a wonderful thick moulded border marble top.

A handsome and high quality medium scale French Louis XVI st. 19th century circa. 1870 mouchete mahogany and ormolu mounted buffet. The buffet is raised by tapered fluted legs ending with sabots below two central interlocking doors with a shelf inside. On each curved side is a bottom mahogany tier below a 'Vert de Maurin' marble tier decorated by a pierced ormolu gallery. A central drawer and a drawer on each side with ormolu handles and keyhole escutcheon. Above lays its original marble top.

19th Century French Louis XVI St. Three Door Buffet In Tulipwood And Kingwood.

A handsome late 19th century French Louis XVI st. three door buffet in tulipwood and kingwood. The buffet is raised by circular tapered legs decorated by ormolu sabots and chased bands. The central door is designed with an inlaid 'urn of prosperity' with blossoming flowers. On each side is a door with a quarter veneered kingwood inlay which continues the same on both ends. Above is the heavily decorated top frieze with ormolu plaques and rosettes, with all original gilt. At the top lays its original 'Breche Violette' marble top.
