A charming and small scale pair of 19th Century French Transitional style, five drawer cabinets. The pair are raised by cabriole legs decorated by ormolu mounts. Each cabinet has five drawers, the top drawer with a herringbone design, the other four drawers with laurel branches bordered by a charmwood band and tulipwood background. The sides have a quarter veneered tulipwood inlay with a charmwood border. Above lays the original 'Breche D'Alep' marble top. All original hardware.

A spectacular and extremely high quality Italian mid 19th Century one door ebony and ivory inlaid cabinet. The cabinet is raised by topie shaped supports below a straight apron. The central door with a raised moulded panel has an intricate central ivory inlaid reserve of griffins amidst scrolled foliage below a draped design. At each corner are flowers while the bordering panels have geometric designs and more detailed inlaid ivory designs. The door is flanked by two fluted columns supporting the top which is also inlaid. Inside lays a shelf.

A sensational and extremely rare French mid 19th Century Louis XVI st. rosewood and mahogany ‘Cartonnier’ with richly chased ormolu mounts, signed ‘GROS PARIS’. The cartonnier with a most attractive burgandy tooled leather file compartments. The compartments are locked by an ingenious system of opening the border at the right. Wonderful quality.

A handsome and elegant English 19th century Louis XVI st. satinwood, ash and sycamore inlaid 1-door cabinet, with all original gilt and hardware. Raised by impressive square tapering legs with ormolu sabots. Above is the straight apron with a stunning inlay. The cabinet has an attractive ash inlaid door surrounded by several inlaid borders and finely chased ormolu keyhole escutcheon. The door is flanked by canted corners with ‘macaron’ shaped ormolu mounts at each end. The top satinwood inlay is surrounded by various inlaid borders. The sides are finished the same.

An attractive and very elegant French 19th Century Napoleon III period ebony cabinet with Sevres porcelain plaques and ormolu mounts. The one door cabinet is raised by topie supports below the straight apron and rounded corneres with brass filets. The paneled door is decorated by an exquisite oval Sevres plaque of a courting scene, with ormolu bow and laurel branches, surrounded by ormolu borders and flowerheads. The sides are finished the same. The door encloses 2 interior shelves and is flanked by impressive ormolu foliage designed mounts and chutes at each corner. Above is a most charming rectangular porcelain plaque, depicting birds and branches. At the top lays an edged white marble.

The cabinet with cut fluted angles, has a very attractive moulded panel door decorated by ormolu bands, ormolu rosettes and keyhole escutcheons at each corner. Inside lays adjustable shelves. At the top lays a charcoal colored slate top. All original gilt.

A spectacular and impressive pair of French Mid 19th Century Napoleon III period, Louis XVI st. one door cabinets. The pair, with extensive ormolu mounts throughout, each have a handsome parquetry inlay on both sides. The front with richly detailed side panels of floral garlands, musical instruments and bows. One center door has an oval medallion with a draped design and an urn and hat on the other, with flowers and musical instruments. The fluted columns are with ormolu mounts including richly chased capitals. Inside lays one shelf. At the top of each cabinet is a fitted white Carrara marble.

The curved sides of the vitrine are finished the same. Above is the glass door with white &blue fitted fabric inside. Rounded fluted inlay design corners with ormolu mounts. At the top is the original white & grey veined marble shaped top.

An extremely high quality and elegant French late 18th Century Louis XVI period Mahogany and ormolu mounted cabinet vitrine which is finished on all sides. The cabinet is raised by tapered fluted legs with topie shaped sabots. The legs are joined by a solid mahogany bottom tier. Above is a reeded sliding door below a drawer. The sides, back and doors are decorated by a refined ormolu beaded border throughout. The upper portion has a vitrine with an interior shelf and a chicken wire door. The top with a white Carrara marble is surrounded by a pierced brass gallery.
