A very attractive and decorative 19th century wrought-iron and gilt metal console. The “Breche Violette” marble top over a pierced Vitruvian scrolled frieze with florettes, raised on curved scrolled supports with gilt metal scrolled leaves attached. The supports are joined by a scrolled stretcher with gilt metal attachments ending in scrolled toes.

A very high quality and elegant French 19th century Louis XVI st. mahogany dessert console. The console is raised by four fluted tapered legs with ormolu sabots and top caps. The legs are joined by a bottom tier fitted with a white Carrara marble below the mirror back. At the frieze is a central drawer with ormolu keyhole escutcheon and ormolu mounts. At the top lays is original and thick white Carrara marble. All original gilt and mirror plate.

Mid 19th Century Italian Painted And Gilt Free Standing Console

An exquisite mid 19th century Italian painted celadon and gilt free standing console. The console is raised by four square tapered legs with acanthus leaves at the bottom and at the top a beaded gilt band below a large acanthus leaf band and rosette. The frieze with a central beaded medallion has a male figure below a large bow and two mottled side panels with gilt scrolls and a central bow. At each corner is a female face. The sides are decorated with similar panels. The top has a wonderful faux painted marble finish. All original paint throughout.

The impressive serpentine front and sides have a central pierced reserve with blossoming flowers amidst scrolls and acanthus leaves. Above lays the original thick 'Rouge Griotte' marble.

An exceptional and unique mid 19th century Italian center table that separates into a pair of consoles, from Southern Italy. The handsome patinated dark pine table is raised on twenty-two turned legs with topie feet, joined by mottled stretchers in an octagonal shape. The bull nose mottled edge of the table borders the wide marble specimen inlay top, trimmed with a black Belgian marble. At the center is a sunburst design with marble inlay and black Belgian marble trim. All original patina.

18th Century Italian Free Standing ‘Traveling Console’

An exquisite and rare 18th century Italian free standing ‘Traveling Console’. The console is easily disassembled for transporting. The console in giltwood and walnut top has two vertical Sirens of the Sea, supports joined by a mottled bombee shaped pierced stretcher in walnut and decorated b giltwood. The center back has a gilt support carved with designs of scrolled acanthus leaves. The elegant frieze is decorated by gilt serpentine shaped drapery carved with a lattice design and acanthus leaves. Above lays the rich patinated and thick walnut top. All original gilt throughout.

A magnificent pair of early 19th century, circa 1810, Roman Neo-Classical st. cherry wood consoles. Each console is raised on slender tapered legs with patinated carved lion heads at the top and paw shaped feet. The legs and straight frieze are trimmed with pressed brass filets. At the top lays an impressive hand cut Giallo Verona marble with rectangular cut corners and molded edge.
