A handsome early 19th century, circa. 1830, freestanding Biedermeier 'D' shaped tall console. The walnut and ebony console is raised by four 'S' scrolled legs joined by a bottom tier with an ebony edge. At the apron is a central drawer with a brass keyhole escutcheon. The apron is framed within an ebony band at the top and bottom. wonderful rich and original patina throughout.

18th Century Italian Giltwood Console

A sensational and grand scale 18th century Italian giltwood and sky blue polychrome freestanding console table. The console is raised by four ‘S’ scrolled carved legs with flowers and large acanthus leaves. The legs are joined by an ‘X’ stretcher with a central pierced shell amidst more acanthus leaves. The scalloped pierced apron is below the original veneered Sarrancolin marble top with a central reserve and molded border in black St. Laurent marble. Exquisite and high quality.

The pair are raised by slender ‘S’ scrolled cabriole legs ending with ebonized hoof feet and a twisted ribbon designed trim. The frieze with wonderful grained walnut has an ebonized carved trim below the terra cotta colored fossilized marble top.

A spectacular and important pair of Italian mid 19th century giltwood consoles with matching mirrors. The freestanding consoles are raised by ‘S scrolled legs joined by ‘X’ stretcher with an elaborate central urn and floral garlands. The legs have a draped design and tassels below the etched floral pattern on the apron. The mirrors with all original mirror plates each have a large richly carved open wing eagle clutching a central crest amidst floral draping garlands flanked by protruding drape-like accents. All original gilt.

An extraordinary and rare shape 18th century circa. 1710 Italian painted and parcel gilt freestanding console. This Veneto, Italy console is raised by impressive 'S' scrolled legs with large carved bellflowers and ending in hoof feet. . The apron has an elaborate arbalest shape and a centering leaf and two outer large 'c' scrolls. Above lays the original very thick fitted ‘Bleu Turquin’ which is bordered by a gilt moulded border. The entire painted frame has all original traces of polychrome. Exceptional quality
