A high quality French 19th century Louis XVI st. Russian style, 'Bonheur du Jour', in solid Mahogany with ormolu and brass filets and all original hardware. Raised by 4 topie shaped supports with ormolu sabots and rings. Three large drawers with ormolu borders and impressive inlaid brass filets. Above is a sensational flip open writing surface with its original fitted green leather. At the top is a group of 3 drawers and a finely chased pierced ormolu gallery, with finials at each corner.

A handsome 19th century French Louis XVI st. kidney shaped desk in kingwood and tulipwood. The desk is raised by tapered circular fluted legs ending with ormolu sabots. The apron with three drawers has an impressive ormolu band and reeded ormolu plaques. Each drawer has ormolu handles and keyhole escutcheons. The top is fitted with dark green leather surrounded by a pierced ormolu gallery.

A very high quality late 18th century Louis XVI period mahogany writing table, signed C. Mauter. Raised by round tapered fluted supports with ormolu chandelles in the chutes ending with ormolu thimble sabots. The shaped frieze has three drawers with ormolu keyhole escutcheons and two keys. Moulded side panels and each corner also decorated with ormolu fitted chandelles. Rectangular top with a fitted gold-tooled tan leather bordered by mahogany. All original ormolu mounts and hardware.

A superb French mid 19th century Louis XV st. kingwood and ormolu mounted desk, in the manner of F. Linke. The desk is raised by slender cabriole legs decorated by ormolu chutes, wrap around sabots and acanthus leaf designed top mounts. The arbalest shaped apron has three drawers with the central drawer decorated by a grotto style ormolu mount amidst flowers and foliage, each side drawer is bordered by an ormolu band with an intertwined floral garland. The burgundy colored gilt tooled leather top is fitted within an inlaid kingwood border and ormolu gallery.

A very high quality and spectacular Russian early 19th century Empire style mahogany ' Bureau a Cylindre' with all original gilt and hardware. The square feet with brass reeded plaques below three large drawers bordered with brass filets, have ormolu handles and keyholes. The handsome cylinder roll up framed with brass filets, pulls and mounts, opens to reveal a leather fitted pullout and smaller drawers of various sizes. The curved sides of the desk are adorned with brass rosettes and reeded filets. Above are two additional drawers flanking a central slide opening to display letter slots, all decorated with ormolu handles, pulls and brass filets. The elegant top is decorated with unique brass finial mounts on brass edged tiered sides and central brass pierced gallery.
