A very attractive 19th century Louis xvi st. giltwood mirror with its original beveled mirror plate. The sides have a moulded border decorated by intertwined carved rose garlands. At the top is an impressive richly carved central shell in a “Rocaille” design, flanked by 's' scrolled foliage and floral garlands. On each side of the shell is a square cut shape with scrolled acanthus leaves.

A very elegant mid 19th century French Louis XVI st. Oval giltwood mirror. The mirror frame has all original gilt and a wonderful twisted ribbon design next to a beaded design. At the top is a large scale pierced central reserve of a floral garland amidst a bow, flame and arrow, symbolizing power and protection. The central reserve is balanced by two large and richly carved laurel branches.

A handsome and very high quality French early 19th century Louis XVI st. gilt and dark grey patinated Trumeau, with all original gilt. The Trumeau is fitted with a painting of a scene with cherubs playing with birds. Raised by a straight apron flanked by large acanthus leaves, the Trumeau is surrounded by an elaborate cabochon shaped carved border and exquisite ‘Rais de Coeur’ interior border. At the top is a richly carved reserve of a tied ribbon amidst attractive floral garlands.

A spectacular and finely detailed French 19th century Louis XVI st. giltwood mirror with rich carvings throughout and all original gilt. The mirror has a most attractive twisted foliate garland carved border flanked by beaded rows. Each side has scrolled acanthus leaf shaped carvings topped by attractive flaming urns of prosperity. The curved top has a central reserve of a crest flanked by berried laurel branches. Wonderful quality.

An exquisite and high quality pair of French 19th century giltwood mirrors, with original gilt and mirror plates. Raised by a handsome ‘Rocaille’ foliate designed frieze flanked by 2 stylized corner blocks. The mirror has a most charming escutcheon shaped interior border surrounded by a moulded carved frieze. While the exterior of the frame has a very attractive scrolled foliate shapes throughout. At the top is a central rocaille shell shaped reserve flanked by large ‘C’ scrolls at each corner.
