A most charming French 19th Century Transitional style Kingwood, Tulipwood and Charmwood 2-drawer D shaped side table , with all original ormolu mounts and hardware. Raised by 4 slightly cabriole shaped legs with ormolu sabots. The straight apron is centered by a pierced branch shaped ormolu cartouche. Above the drawers are finely chased ormolu chutes and an exquisite four quarter veneered inlay. The sides are finished the same. At the top lays a thick moulded shaped ‘Breche Violette’ marble.
