A fine French mid 19th century Transitional st. cabinet vitrine, circa. 1840. The vitrine is raised on cabriole legs with ormolu sabots below a scalloped apron with central ormolu mount. The front and sides are veneered with tulipwood, kingwood and charmwood. The vitrine has twelve drawers with ormolu pulls and keyhole escutcheons, and a central glass door. All below the solid Gris st. Anne marble top.
