French 18th Century Regence Period Kingwood Commode Stamped JME, 'Lardin'

An elegant French mid 18th Century Regence period kingwood commode stamped JME, 'Lardin'. The chest has three wide drawers with very impressive finely chased ormolu handles centered by ormolu keyhole escutcheons. The drawers and sides are bordered with a tulipwood inlaid trim. All below the solid marble top. Original gilt and patina throughout.
