French 19th Century Bronze Of A Fox, Signed Pierre Jules Mene (1810-1877)

A wonderful French mid 19th century bronze of a fox, signed ‘Pierre Jules Mene’ (1810-1877). The bronze with all original patina throughout has an oval base with foliage and the fox above. Mene was the most successful and prolific animalier sculptor of all time.
