A very charming early 19th century painting done in the 18th century style of oil painting on a board, by the Dutch painter Pietor Offermans, titled “Annoying Stranger”. A lovely pastoral scene with a cow who is menacing a family of ducks, with a swan coming to the rescue. The village of Dordrecht is seen in the background.
