19th Century French Transitional St. Demi-Lune Commodes

A very attractive pair of late 19th century French Transitional st. Demi-Lune commodes. Each commode is raised by tapered legs with ormolu sabots below the scalloped apron decorated by a central ormolu mount. The tulipwood commodes have a lovely inlay border on each of the 4 drawers and sides. Each drawer has ormolu pulls and keyhole escutcheons, flanked by ormolu top mounts. At the top lays the thick moulded edge Breche d’Alep marble. All original gilt. Available CedricDupontAntiques.com
