A sensational Grand Tour mid 19th Century French central bowl in ormolu, black Belgium and Rouge Griotte marble. The bowl carved out of a single piece of Black Belgium marble is raised by a square moulded base and ormolu supports. The bowl is decorated by an ormolu figure in classic dress raised on a moulded column in the center. The bowl is flanked with elegant double scrolled chased handles protruding from a bird figure.
