A very handsome French 19th century Louis XVI st. white Carrera marble mantle. The jambs are fluted and tapered. The bandeau is elegantly decorated with a central circular carved rosette in between two moulded rectangular borders. The two extreme ends of the bandeau are finished off with a square carved acanthus leaf design on both sides. The thick white marble shelf has an upside down moulded border.
