A high quality and charming mid 19th century French Louis XVI st. ormolu group of putti. The very decorative group is raised on a white Carrara marble mottled base decorated by an ormolu beaded band. above is the richly chased group of four putti and a goat playing. One putti is holding a jar while the other has fallen dropping his jar next to a basket. The other putti with tambourines is in front with the goat jumping on his back.
