A large and high quality pair of mid 19th century French Louis XVI st. three arm ormolu sconces. Each sconce has a top bow with a central ribbon holding the spiral fluted quiver shaped central backplate with arrows. The three ‘S’ scrolled arms decorated by flowers and large acanthus leaves, are joined by a richly chased floral garland with a central bow. The fut ends with a bottom acorn finial.
