A very important Italian 18th century Giltwood mirror with all original gilt. the whole is with wonderfully decorative Foliage and scrolls. At the bottom is a Central shell with a cabochon in the center. At the top are carved acanthus Leaves, 's' and 'c' scrolls repeated again at the bottom. A very well Balanced and proportioned mirror.
