French 19th Century Louis XVI St. Ormolu, Bronze And Sèvres Clock

A magnificent French 19th century Louis XVI st. ormolu clock. The clock is raised on topie shaped feet below the oval base decorated with beautiful Sèvres porcelain inserts accented by ormolu rosette blocks, and a central mount of musical instruments and floral garlands tied together with a bow. The finely chased based has a central column with Sèvres porcelain of a cherub. The enamel dial is within an ormolu encasing with inverted finials and scrolls. On each side is a patinated bronze putti, one holding an ormolu harp and the other a Sèvres porcelain within an ormolu frame. At the top is an ormolu urn with flowing flowers and garlands. All original gilt and patina throughout.
