An extremely elegant pair of French 19th century Louis XVI st. demi lune crouch mahogany, ormolu and marble consoles. Each freestanding console is raised on four square tapered legs with square wrap around ormolu sabots and Coeur de Rai pattern ormolu top caps. At the frieze is a central drawer with a richly chased ormolu Coeur de Rai trim and a ruban noué designed ormolu keyhole escutcheon. The drawer is flanked by an ormolu beaded design that is repeated at each side. Above is the original thick white Carrera marble top with mottled edges. All original rich patina and gilt throughout.
