A very handsome French late 19th century Louis XVI st. mahogany and ormolu games table. The table is raised by four fluted tapered legs with ormolu topie shaped feet and ormolu top caps. At the frieze and top is an impressive kingwood and charmwood Marquetry à la Reine bordered with ormolu bands and gallery. A compartment beneath may be pulled out which extends the back leg and offers storage. The top flips open to reveal a green felt gaming surface. All original patina and gilt throughout.
Table extends to 32.5" in diameter.
