A magnificent pair of Italian mid 18th century Louis XVI period demi lune giltwood consoles, circa 1750. Each console is raised on two scrolled supports with carved acanthus leaves, joined by a tier with an inverted leaf design, and urn of prosperity above. The demi lune shaped frieze is decorated with carvings of foliate, palmettes and acanthus leaves, and has a central drawer with iron key.
