A stunning Italian 18th century Louis XIV period mecca free standing console. The console is raised by elegant cabriole legs with fine scrolled feet and richly carved cabochons at each corner. The arbalest shaped frieze is centered by a seashell cabochon amidst reeded and intricate foliate patterns. The sides are decorated in the same manner. Above is the rectangular sienna marble top with a mottled border. All original mecca.
