A stunning and rare French 19th century Louis XV st. kingwood, tulipwood and ormolu dining or center table. The table is raised by six elegant cabriole legs with richly chased pierced wrap around sabots and fine pierced ormolu foliate mounts. The arbalest shaped apron is centered by a tulipwood Oeil de Boeuf, framed within a kingwood border. The oval top, has six sides with a circular central reserve within an extremely decorative sunburst veneered top with a kingwood border and an ormolu mottled gallery. All original warm patina throughout.
