A Pair Of French 19th Century Patinated Bronzes, Signed Bulio
Item # 8430
Category: Objets D'art
A wonderful and very decorative pair of French 19th century patinated bronzes, signed Bulio. Each is raised on a circular base depicting the ground. One bronze is of an adorable winged cupid holding a bunch of wildflowers. The other is of a precious little girl with her gown off her shoulders, one hand is holding up her dress and the other clutching flowers that were presented to her. Wonderful expressions and finely executed. With all original patina throughout.
Jean Bulio (1827-1911) French Sculptor. Attended l'Ecole-des-Beaux, and exhibited at the Salon in 1859. Received honorable mentions in 1882 and 1886
