A stunning French early 19th century Louis XVI st. mahogany three door, three drawer demi lune buffet vitrine. The D shaped vitrine is raised by elegant, refined circular tapered legs with fine topie feet and striking ormolu top caps. At the frieze is a wonderful ormolu band with a draped fabric and tassel design and a beaded pattern. Above each leg are richly chased ormolu block rosettes below a fluted column with fine fitted ormolu chandelles. At the center are three doors, each with their original glass framed within a beaded ormolu band and foliate ormolu keyhole escutcheons. Above a fluted, tied ormolu band are three drawer each decorated with most exquisite pierced ormolu, entrelacs et les rosaces designs, and foliate pattern, flanked by ormolu rosettes. All below the original grayish fossilized marble top is fitted within a pierced ormolu gallery, with a baluster design and a draped fabric and tassel design. All original gilt and hardware.
