A very handsome pair of Northern Italian 18th century patinated Deux-Corps cabinets from Venice. Each is raised on short cabriole legs with hand painted teal colored acanthus leaves. The unique shaped bottom half has curved sides with two paneled doors that open to reveal an interior shelf. A central drawer is flanked with scrolled capitols also with teal acanthus leaves.The frieze and doors all have giltwood border and iron hardware. The door in the hutch above open to reveal three shelves. All bellow an impressive pierced top crown with very architectural design elements. All original gilt and hardware throughout.
