A most elegant and high quality pair of French 19th century Louis XVI st. ormolu and white Carrara marble Guéridons. Each side table is raised by handsome and detailed hoof feet adorned with large acanthus leaves, topped with finely chased ram heads. The legs are joined by a triangular stretcher with concave sides and a fine central floral rosette. The three elegant cabriole legs support a central white Carrara marble tier framed within a mottled and beaded ormolu border. At the top is the original white Carrara marble fitted within an ormolu mottled and beaded gallery. All original gilt throughout.
