A very handsome French 19th century Louis XVI st. mahogany and ormolu buffet. The two door and three drawer buffet is raised on five tapered legs with ormolu sabots and top caps. The doors and drawers have ormolu borders and keyhole escutcheons. A very unique note is the keyhole escutcheons have a Fleur de Lis design element that depicts the high quality of craftsmanship. Two doors slide open to reveal an interior shelf, below the three drawers at the frieze. The recessed paneled sides are also accented with ormolu borders. All below the thick white Carrara marble top. With all original gilt and rich patina throughout.
