A stunning French 19th century Louis XVI st. mahogany and ormolu buffet. Raised by topie shaped fluted legs decorated by a chased ormolu band and sabot. The curved sides have a central tier and are fitted with Brocatelle d'Espagne marble and pierced ormolu gallery. At the center are two inlaid doors with ormolu rosettes and finely chased keyhole escutcheons. Flanking the doors are fluted columns with ormolu chandelles topped with an ormolu rosette block. At the apron are two central and two side drawers with ormolu egg and dart borders and richly chased ormolu pulls. All below the impressive and thick Brocatelle d'Espagne marble top. All original gilt and patina throughout.
