A fine and most decorative English 19th century Regency period rosewood, ormolu, and marble specimen side table. The table is raised by curved legs with richly chased ormolu foliate sabots and the original casters. The square central tier has concave sides and displays a handsome reeded pattern with fitted brass inlaid filets. A tapered column is also decorated with brass filet borders. The frieze is decorated with foliate brass inlaid designs at each side accented by rosettes. At the top is a fitted marble centered by a striking marble specimen checker board design.
