A most elegant pair of French 19th century Louis XVI st. cobalt blue porcelain and ormolu vases, possibly by Sèvres. Each vase is raised by a square ormolu base with fine block rosette reserves at each corner and a decorative beaded ormolu band. The porcelain body has an intricately chased, pierced wrap around ormolu band with detailed swaging floral garlands, centered by a quiver and the eternal flame. At each side are female masks and scrolled handles. The top rim is decorated with a fine reeded and tied ormolu band. With all original gilt throughout.
