A handsome French 19th century Louis XVI st. Kingwood and ormolu mounted display cabinet/ vitrine. The vitrine is raised by six square tapered legs ending in square sabots with a bottom ball. The front with a central protruding center has three front panes of glass surrounding the glass while at each corner are ormolu rosettes and foliate scrolls. Each side is decorated the same. The top frieze is wonderfully decorated with ormolu floral garlands and top bows. At the center are two winged cherubs holding a repeat of the same floral garland. The top, with two different elevations, are with a Brèche Violette marble. Inside lays two adjustable glass shelves. Attributed to François Linke
