An elegant pair of French 19th century Louis XVI st. ormolu and marble urns mounted into lamps. Each lamp is raised on a square gilt wood and marble base with concave corners. The richly chased satin and burnished finished socle pedestal with a twisted and fluted design is decorated with acanthus leaves and a berried laurel wreath. At each side of the marble urn are finely chased impressive ram heads joined by an exquisite swaging floral garland below a pierced ormolu top. Finished with gold silk shades, with all original gilt throughout.
