The ormolu socle pedestal displays a berried laurel band and a fluted pattern in a beautiful satin and burnished finish. The Rouge Griotte body displays a richly chased and charming young Zephyrus (Zephyr), the God of Wind, to each side amidst scrolled and foliate patterns connected by a most detailed floral garland centering a superb family crest with an arrow, quiver and tied ribbon. Above is a beautiful acorn finial with foliate movements. All original gilt throughout.
