An elegant pair of Continental 19th century Biedermeier st. burl walnut, ormolu and marble one drawer one door side tables. Each small table is raised by square tapered legs with finely fitted ormolu sabots. At the center is a door with a most decorative and wonderfully executed inlaid plaque of a lady laying down set on an ebonized fruitwood background and framed within a richly chased ormolu border with pierced palmettes. The door opens with an ormolu pull to reveal the original fitted marble interior. Above is a single drawer with a fine berried laurel pull. All below the original Brèche marble top.
