A most elegant Country French 19th century Louis XVI st. three drawer commode with a wonderful patinated finish and faux marble top. The commode is raised by square tapered legs below vertical fluted columns with carved chandelles. The bottom frieze is handsomely decorated by a Greek Key design on all sides and a central rosette in the front. Above are the three drawers with wonderful horizontal recessed panels. Each drawer retains their original hardware including the patinated off white bronze handles and keyhole escutcheons. Both sides of the commode are with a rectangular recessed panel with an interior circular raised design. The top has a finely finished faux marble top.
