A spectacular and monumental scale pair of French mid 19th century Louis XV / XVI st. ormolu and white Carrara marble urns mounted into lamps. Each is raised by a triangular shaped base with a bottom ormolu trim and reeded ormolu band. The oblong white Carrara marble urn has bottom ormolu hoof designed supports. The urn is decorated with opulent and richly chased ormolu scrolls amidst foliage and a top swaging floral garland. The scrolls lead to a pierced 'C' scrolled ormolu designs, all below the neck and top lid with a flowing water design.
