A handsome French 19th century 1st Empire period mahogany, ormolu and marble cabinet Circa 1805. The cabinet is raised by bun supports below architectural columns. At the center is a pair of doors decorated with finely chased foliate keyhole escutcheons separated by a decorative brass fillet. The doors display an ormolu star at each corner and an arched recessed panel and open to reveal one shelf and its original lock. Above a finely chased pierced ormolu mount is the original Vert Antique marble top.
