A handsome and fine quality pair of French late 19th century Directoire st. mahogany, ormolu and marble Guèridon tables, in the manner of Adam Weisweiller. Each side table is raised by mahogany ‘C’ scrolled feet ending with ormolu sabots and chased acanthus leaves. Above the feet are a pair of bamboo designed ormolu supports. The legs are joined by a mahogany stretcher elegantly decorated by an ormolu band and a central ormolu finial with a carved mahogany tazza. The marble top is fitted within a mottled ormolu gallery.
