A handsome pair of French 19th century Neo-Classical st. patinated bronze Warwick vases. Each is raised on a circular black Belgium marble hexagonal base below the fluted column. The very impressive patinated bronze vase is raised on a bronze socle with busts of noblemen amidst palmettes, flanked by reeded entwined handles. The interior is finely finished with a beaded and oval border. All original patina.
The Warwick Vase is an ancient Roman marble vase with Bacchic ornaments that was discovered at Hadrian's Villa, Tivoli about 1771
