A high quality and unusual pair of French 19th century Directoire st., silvered bronze and ormolu candlesticks. The three attractive topie shaped ormolu supports raise a triangular shaped apron with an exquisite scalloped shape and finely chased reserves. Above are three high quality silvered bronze swans facing the beaded leaf design central stem, below the sensational acorn leaf shaped candlecup.
