A stunning and most impressive pair of French 19th century Louis XVI st. ormolu andirons with all original gilt. raised by a handsome square support with a central bombee shape and sensational chased maiden's mask flanked by drapery and topie shaped supports. The andirons have very detailed stylized scrolling foliage designed chasings throughout. Above is an outstanding urn of prosperity decorated with the eternal flame amidst ram heads
