A very handsome and high quality decorative19th century five paneled Japanese black lacquered wooden screen. The screen wit hall original hardware (double swivel hinges) has a landscape scene with large tropical birds amidst foliage, clouds and houses. On The other side is a hand painted floral scene with wonderful pastel colors throughout. Unusual in having both sides as highly decorated. All mounted on original wheels.
