An exceptional and large scale 18th century Coromandel Japanese double sided, 8-panel screen. The two sides have all of its original tempura within the landscape scenes. On both sides are figures, animals; houses and birds. Bordered by floral designs at the bottom and various objects of the period. Raised by supports.
