A most spectacular, very high quality and rare pair of Italian 19th century giltwood and mirror three arm sconces with all original gilt. With elaborate 's' scrolling shapes and finely carved detailed busts of the nymph Syrinx and Greek god Pan. At the bottom is an elegant 'c' scroll carving below the 3 spiral candle arms. Above are stunning pierced carvings throughout revealing the mirror backplate. At the top of each figure is a spectacular 'c' scrolling carved acanthus leaf. Available CedricDupontAntiques.com
