A very high quality and impressive French, 19th century Louis XVI st. Mahogany buffet. The buffet, with all original gilt and ormolu mounts, is raised by large circular tapered legs with sabots. Above the moulded frieze are two crouch mahogany interlocking doors with ormolu rosettes. On both sides are two tiers with white Carrara marble and a pierced ormolu gallery. Above are two central moulded drawers and a curved drawer at each end, with ormolu handles. Ormolu rosettes in between the drawers above fluted columns with ormolu mounts. White Carrara marble top.
