A rare Italian 19th century terra cotta fireplace mantel highly decorated by scrolled acanthus leaves, shells, flowers and central crests. Charming cherubs faces at the bottom. Impressive top crown with central female bust in a niche. All original patina and paint throughout. From a chateau in Sologne, France.
