An Italian 19th Century Glass And Crystal Three Tier Eighteen Light Chandelier

An impressive and high quality Italian 19th century glass and crystal three tier eighteen light Chandelier with a gilt metal frame. The chandelier has a glass and metal finial below the lower 'S' scrolled tier which is decorated with lyre shaped crystals throughout, joined by large swaging crystal beads, giving the chandelier a full and rich body. The middle tier is decorated the same, all joined by the elongated glass fut. Each electrified arm has a glass bobeche with hanging kite shaped crystals, embellished with glass rosettes and hanging lyre crystals. The upper 'S' scrolled tier is similarly decorated with smaller scale electrified candles. Wonderful proportions.

A very attractive French 19th century Empire st. Neo-Classical burl walnut three door and three drawer buffet. The buffet is raised by square tapered legs with an ebony filet and ormolu mount ending with an ormolu ball. The straight frieze is below the wide central door with a large ormolu berried laurel wreath tied with a bow flanked by doors decorated with an ormolu quiver and the eternal flame. The drawers are adorned with ormolu pulls and central palmette ormolu reserves. At the top lays the original thick Vert Patricia marble.

The incredibly carved giltwood top crown displays elaborate scrolls and acanthus leaves which continues on the sides, and a finely carved floral garland drapes down each side. A truly stunning piece with all original gilt and mirror plate.

A stunning French Louis XVI st giltwood console with original matching mirror. The console is raised on carved bun feet with reeded legs decorated with acanthus leaves and top capitols. The legs are joined with a stretcher with a wonderful carved urn with scrolled handles. The impressive frieze above has a floral design accented with rosette blocks and is centered by a scrolled shell design element with cabochon. At the top lays the fitted Incarnat Turquin marble. The mirror has an elaborately carved floral border with beaded trim. The curved top is flanked with squared out corners. Above is the impressive top crown with central cabochon and scrolling acanthus leaves. All original gilt and mirror plate.

A handsome early 19th century Italian walnut and Ivory inlaid Mazarin commode. The chest is raised by square tapered legs ending with a turned bun support joined by a scrolled inlaid stretcher. The mottled frieze has a central inverted finial below the two wide drawers. Each drawer has inlaid scrolls amidst inserts of etched floral inlays with the original patinated bronze pulls and keyhole escutcheons. Wonderful proportions and very decorative.

A superb and extremely elegant French 19th century Louis XVI st. mahogany two door buffet signed Jansen. This high quality buffet is raised on short tapered feet with chased ormolu sabots and ormolu border above which continues on the sides. A reeded finely chased central vertical crossbar adorns the door with ormolu keyhole escutcheon and is flanked by two additional ormolu mounts with central crests and crowns. The buffet has the original adjustable interior shelves and three mahogany drawers. Above lays the thick Bleu Turquin marble top. Wonderful grain and patina throughout with all original gilt and hardware.

A remarkable pair of early 19th century Baltic elongated cherry pedestals. Each pedestal is raised on square ebony feet below the concave side cherry base. The top is raised by three supports with giltwood carved talons at the bottom and giltwood eagle heads at the top. The round cherry plateau supports an original white Carrara marble top. All original gilt.

A superb and very unique late 18th early 19th century French Louis XVI period tulipwood and kingwood table écritoire, in the manner of Topino. The table is raised on slender tapered legs with ormolu sabots, decorated at the top with banner like ormolu mounts below an ormolu drape held up with rosettes. The raised panel apron has a running wave design with a central drawer and ormolu keyhole escutcheon. The mechanical drawer pulls out which then pushes back the top, revealing a gilt tooled bordered leather writing surface and inner compartments. The very impressive top depicts a collegiate theme of books on a table and inkwell beside, all with inlays of walnut and burl walnut fitted within a linear contoured ormolu gallery. All original gilt and hardware.

A very attractive French 19th century Louis XVI st. cut crystal urn mounted into a lamp. The lamp is raised on a square base with richly chased ormolu pedestal. Above is the wonderfully cut crystal baluster shaped urn with Oxblood red interior. The urn is flanked by scrolled ormolu handles ornamented with a satyr with foliate berried headdress. At the top is an chased ormolu border and lid. All original gilt.

A very attractive French 19th century Transitional st. three tier serving table. The table is raised on slender tapered legs, with the original casters, decorated with richly chased ormolu sabots and topped with ormolu rosettes and handing garlands. Each tier with tulipwood quarter veneered design has a kingwood border. A lovely tied wheat designed ormolu border trims the bottom of the apron and a fitted ormolu gallery at the top. Wonderful grain and warm patina throughout.
